Chapter 8

Oliver spent a few more moments checking different things like the water purifiers to the strap hooks along all the access points and cargo netting that was of strong hemp fiber. He opened and closed the claim shell doors, checking that the seal sensors were working. Oliver finally stepped off and ran an elemental exam on the hull structuring and found he had done a very good job in his design. He then climbed up on top and inspected the converted missile launcher bays, which were now inflatable emergency rafts with small high powered electric motors attached. Oliver closed them back up and climbed back down.

All three of the heads, two of college and one AN north America head of security, were standing and waiting on him. Oliver sighed and asked, “Yes?” Mr. Noah simply handed him his summoned book. Mr. Unknown shook his hand, saying great job. It was Lady Emma who said. “That book can not be found on the college campus grounds.” Oliver looked at it and the book started to glow, then simply crumpled into dust. He had, after all, read what he needed to. Lady Emma smiled at him and said. “With that out of the way, how long do you think you will need to finish testing and inspecting this? And what is your next project?”

Oliver sighed and replied. “I’m thinking a full month going over everything and then I’ll call Mrs Rebecca Derbent and invite her to come out and inspect it and sign off if it meets her approval. Hopefully by then I’ll have that cargo transporter company legally owned and mine. And a trustworthy and trained crew hired to take the MD160 back to its berth. Then I figure I’ll have the PES charged back up and ready for my next project.” Mr. Unknown asks. “Which is?” Oliver says with a smile. “Those crashed burnt up grav wave personnel carriers, of course.” Noah asked. “Why those?” And Oliver grins and says.

“Because they are already here? And I plan to make one a delivery vehicle for my folks and kin back homes company use. One a personnel private transport, since my bike will fit nicely within it and still leave enough room for personal use. And One to sell to the highest bidder. If I can rebuild more than that, I will, but that's my current plan. Why?” Oliver has a wry expression on his face as he asks that. Which had the three chuckling, which just made Oliver more worried. Any other three people, he wouldn’t worry about it. Lady Emma said. “Well, it's getting close to the holiday break. And I just thought you might want to pick up your parents when they come?”

Mr.Unknown says. “Lady Emma, that will not be a problem, since they will be brought here on AN OPS transporter guarded. Oliver and his family are very important to the AN. And I had already promised Oliver I would do so before all this new information popped up.
